Have been in 'the middle' of reading this for a year now. Good hardback from the Bookhouse in Minneapolis. I keep hearing about how people's husbands are reading this book, which must mean it has something to do with fears about masculinity. Also Bolaño was dying from colon cancer during, which says something, ref. DFW's Oblivion's "Good Old Neon."
